Getting Started
When rediSONG opens for the first time, it guides you through the welcome screens and gives you the option to choose which song languages to include. The bundled sample library is there to show the app working; it can be kept, deleted, or supplemented with your own songs.
Songbook – Your master library of songs, lyrics, chords, tags, and links.
Set Lists – The song order for a particular service, rehearsal, or event.
Perform – A focused view for musicians, leaders, and practice.
Projection – The controller and display view used to present lyrics.
Settings – System language, appearance, tags, backups, and help.
A simple first workflow
- Add or import the songs you want to use.
- Create a set list and add those songs in service order.
- Check the working key, capo, linked songs, and any custom song order.
- Open Perform to check that the musician view is comfortable to read.
- Open Projection, choose the correct screen, and check the display before people arrive.
Language and appearance
rediSONG uses English by default. If the computer system language is Japanese, it starts in Japanese. You can change the system language and switch between light and dark mode in Settings at any time. Song languages are separate from the system language: enable the languages you expect to use in your song library.
(We plan to add more system and song languages to rediSONG in future releases. )
