Set Lists
A set list is the plan for one service, rehearsal, or event. It refers to your Songbook records and stores the choices that are specific to that occasion, including song order, working key, capo, linked-song grouping, and custom section order.
Create a Set
- Open Set Lists and choose Add Set.
- Enter a set title and date, then save it.
- Choose Select Songs to open the song selector.
- Search, filter by language or tag, and optionally use Show Preview to check a song before adding it.
- Select songs using the orange tick at the right of each selected row, then choose Done.
Use Clear all in the song selector only when you intend to remove the current selection. rediSONG asks for confirmation before clearing it.
Manage the Set
| Reorder songs | Drag a song by its drag handle. A linked pair added together is one unit. |
| Remove a song | Use the song context menu and select Delete Song. |
| Add linked partner | When a song has a linked partner on file, the context menu can add that existing linked song to the set. |
| Duplicate a set | Choose Duplicate, then give the copy a new title and date. |
| Find a set | Use the search icon in the set-list sidebar, then type the title or date. |
| Sort sets | Use the sort control to switch between newest first and oldest first. |
Set-specific key and capo
Set List changes do not need to alter your Songbook source. Select the key for a song in the set to transpose it for that service. The original key is marked with a star. Set a capo when required; it appears beside the title and in the scrolling header in Perform.
Plan a song order
A custom song order lets you use the sections of a song in the order you plan to sing them, rather than only in the order they were entered in the Songbook. This is particularly useful in such situation where you might repeat a chorus or moving to a bridge early.
- In Set Lists, select the Song Order icon beside the song.
- Choose sections from the available list to create the planned order. A section can be chosen more than once.
- Drag sections in the planned order to rearrange them.
- Use the section preview when available to check the lyrics without opening the full song.
- Choose Reset when you want the default source order again. For a linked pair, Reset follows the first song’s file order and then the second song’s file order.
Song order for linked songs
When two linked songs are together in the set, Song Order presents sections from both. The language marker and song title make it clear where each section comes from. This lets you build one combined order, for example an English verse followed by a Japanese chorus. The pair shares one set-song number.
The Song Order icon turns orange after you save a custom order. It returns to its normal state when the order is reset.
Song order for linked songs
| Correct lyrics, chords, author, or original key | Edit Song in Songbook. |
| Use a different key or capo for one service | Set List or song controls for that set. |
| Change the sections used for one service | When a song has a linked partner on file, the context menu can add that existing linked song to the set. |
| Add a label used across many songs | Settings under Songbook, then assign it in Song View. |
