Projection Mode
Projection has a controller window and a projection screen. Use the controller to choose what the audience sees and to configure the appearance. The projection window remains separate so it can be moved to an external display.
Start a Projection
- Open Projection and choose the required set from the sidebar.
- Select Displays in the Display settings sidebar and choose the screen used for the room.
- Use Start to open the projection. The button changes to Stop while it is running.
- Choose a song and then select a section from the controller. The selected section is shown on the projection screen.
- Use Pause to blank the lyric area when needed. The header and footer can remain visible while the projection is paused.
Control the song list
Projection follows the set order. Linked songs added as a pair share a song number. Use the linked-song view switcher to choose a single combined presentation or a side-by-side view. The choice is kept for linked songs in that set.
When a custom Song Order exists, Projection uses only the sections included in that planned order. This same rule applies in the linked-song views, keeping the controller focused on the sections you intend to use.
Display settings
| Show | Turns chords and romaji on or off for the display. |
| Romaji at bottom | Places romaji below the main Japanese lyric text. |
| Font and text size | Changes the readability of projected lyrics. |
| Horizontal alignment | Aligns text left, centre, or right. |
| Vertical alignment | Aligns the lyric block toward the top, middle, or bottom. |
| Theme | Sets separate colours for song text, chords, romaji, and background. |
| Templates | Saves and restores a complete group of display settings. |
Displays and presentation safety
The display selector identifies each connected screen and explains whether it is the primary display, controller, or projection target. Check this before a service, especially when a projector, television, or external screen has been connected after rediSONG was opened.
Preview
The controller preview is designed to mirror text size, text placement, and vertical alignment as closely as possible. Use it to check the selected display style before you start a live projection. A small preview is not a replacement for looking at the real room display, so test that display too.
Japanese and linked songs
The romaji option appears when the selected set includes Japanese content, including a Japanese song linked to an English song. If you need to show both languages at once, use side-by-side linked view; if you want a single sequence of planned sections, use combined view with Song Order.
