Settings
Settings collects preferences that apply to the whole desktop app. Use it to change the interface language, manage songbook labels, reopen the welcome screens, find help, and protect your data with a snapshot.
General Settings
| System Language | Changes the app interface language, currently including English and Japanese. |
| Dark Mode | Switches between dark and light appearance. The choice is remembered after restart. |
| Online Guide | Opens redisong.com/help in your web browser. |
| About | Shows the installed version number. |
Songbook Settings
Manage the tags and song languages available in your library. A tag can be assigned to many songs, and one song can have more than one tag. Removing a tag asks you to confirm when it is already assigned to songs.
Desktop snapshots
Desktop Snapshots are portable backup and transfer files. They are deliberately simple: they help you move missing songs and sets into another desktop library without silently replacing records that already exist.
- Select Save Snapshot.
- Choose the folder and filename in the system save dialog.
- Keep the snapshot somewhere you can find later, such as a cloud drive, backup disk, or shared team folder.
- To load one, select Load Snapshot and choose the snapshot file.
- rediSONG adds songs and sets that are not already present. It does not overwrite an existing song’s text or an existing set.
A snapshot is a helpful free backup, not a live sync service. If two people change the same song separately, decide which version you want to keep before importing or editing it again.
